TIGERS
On 2000 and 2001 I marked some tigers with microchips in the Moira Orfei circus, four tigers on 2000 and other four on 2001.
2000
Two tigers marked with the microchips were cubs, two months old,
nearly 8 Kilos. The white tiger is a female, Noah. The male, with the classic red color is
Sahib. It was not so difficult to inoculate the microchips. They seems so sweet and tender,
but they are felines and they didn't want to stay still. There was only one wounded man,
Sahib bited a finger of an attendant of the circus.

It was not so easy with the two one year old tigers. It was indispensable to use a sedative on both them to touch them without lose an arm or the head... Anyway I inoculated the microchips without any problem.
The tiger's fur is soft, expecially on the head and on the neck. But they have
a strong smell. Maybe it's not easy to wash them.....
